I am a full time student currently studying a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics at Griffith University on the Gold Coast, Queensland with the intention of undertaking the Honours program. I completed a Bachelor of Music - Contemporary Performance in 2014 and have spent my time since then as a professional musician living and working in Sydney.My career goal is to become an expert in treating disease through food and lifestyle changes. I intend to gain experience in research roles and as my career progresses find a specific area of treatment to specialise in.I believe my interest in the science behind food and diet is what has influenced my decision to pursue a career in Nutrition and Dietetics and wish to enrich my knowledge with as much experience in this field as possible.My skills include:Teamwork - My experience as a professional musician required me to work closely with other musicians and crew members in a performance setting, including rehearsals, multiple month long touring shows. I have a depth of experience in collaborating with venues and agents to book performances.Proficient IT skills - During my time working at JB Hifi I was responsible for ordering a range of products and monitoring and updating stock levels throughout my department. It was my responsibility to ensure customer orders were updated and received via multiple stocktake software programs.Communication Skills - My roles at JB Hifi and Canungra Valley Vineyard involved consistent contact and communication with customers including problem solving and ensuring customers needs were met. My experience in the music industry also included liaising with venue organisers and hotels to adhere to tour schedules.
