In ten years at Acceleris I played an important role in helping grow the business to become one of the leading PR and communications agencies in the North of England. I was responsible for managing and developing an award-winning team and winning, planning and delivering creative and effective communications campaigns.

In my first PR role I worked for a number of professional services, consumer and public sector clients including law firms Walker Morris and Grahame Stowe Bateson, Theakston’s Brewery and Walsall Borough Council. I was responsible for handling media relations for the agency as well as writing press releases, feature articles and web copy. In this role I was able to learn and develop the key skills required in a busy PR agency including delivering excellent client service, producing detailed evaluation reports, generating media coverage and managing my time and workload effectively. I was promoted to senior account executive, nominated for the CIPR Young Communicator award and played a part in helping the agency win a number of regional and national honours.
