As a substitute teacher, I worked in K-12 classrooms across the Public Public School District and North Clackamas School District. I held two long term sub roles in high school and in a 4th grade classroom. I developed lessons through grade level curriculum and collaborated with other teachers on grade level content.

I worked as an Outdoor School science instructor for the Portland Metro area for 6th graders. As a collaborative outdoor school team we traveled to the middle schools to teach 6th grade students science curriculum that was designed by our team.

I acted as a learning pod teacher for elementary students in grades Kindergarten-5th grade. I met with students in person while they had online meetings with their classroom teachers. I would assist the students in any needs that needed to be met in person. I catered toward the needs of the students and specific learning skills that needed to be developed in person. I assigned and worked with students to develop skills in reading, writing, science, art, and Social emotional learning within our classroom.

I worked as a Student Teacher in a first and second grade blended classroom at Sunnyside Environmental School. I worked as a Co-teacher alongside an experienced first and second grade teacher, and I collaborated with the other first and second grade teachers. I observed one of the fourth grade classrooms at Sunnyside and gained 160 hours of in the classroom experience observing in the fourth grade.

I gained over 120 hours of in the classroom experience through student teaching at University of Oregon. I worked in three different schools; Scott Elementary School (Salem, Oregon) in a fifth grade classroom, Danebo Elementary School (Eugene/Springfield, Oregon) in a first grade classroom, and Centennial Elementary School (Eugene/Springfield, Oregon) as an assistant cafeteria staff worker.

I worked as a camp counselor for a local community center, that maintained the safety and careful watch over children, whose ages ranged from 8-12. On the job I walked the group of children to a local park where I watched over the children as we had recreation time in the park. Once a week the group of camp counselors and I would take the children on a field trip to a location around the city. I worked as the camp lead for one summer. My duties for the camp lead were to maintain the order of the summer camp staff, communication with parents and guardians, and maintain the overall safety for the children.

I worked with the Oregon Youth Soccer Association (OYSA) for six years. I worked to ensure safe playing of recreational soccer for youth aged 8-14 years. I helped enforce OYSA rules and regulations; stayed current on changes in regulations. I served as liaison between parents, coaches, players and OYSA staff.
