About Simon Cope
I currently play a key role at the Red Kite Group, which comprises Red Kite Community Housing, a tenant-led, not-for-profit, charitable housing association that owns and manages more than 6,500 homes in the Wycombe district; and Twenty11, a new and different type of housing organisation, specifically set up to respond to modern day challenges and the desire to provide tenants with more than just a home. Together with my colleagues in the Brand & Communications team I manage the Group's external communications activity, ensuring a consistently high standard of content across our websites and our social media channels; and internal communications, liaising with and advising colleagues at all levels in order to develop and strengthen our sense of purpose and community. My previous 30 years’ experience, firstly at the heart of the voluntary sector, and then within a vibrant and diverse intellectual community that forms part of the world's leading University, gave me an unrivalled insight into how organisations can use technology and the web to achieve their goals and get closer to their audiences and supporters.I have both the knowledge and the confidence to convey complexity in straightforward terms. My career progression has been driven by my willingness to go beyond my defined role. Building strong working relationships is at the heart of everything I do, and I am always willing to pitch in for the team.
Listed skills include Charities, Web Content Management, Digital Marketing, Social Media, and 6 others.
