• Lead Project Manager for a range of global projects introducing and improving digital forensics systems and processes for law enforcement agencies.• Led the design and implementation of a digital transformation process, including moving services to the Cloud, for a partnership of 5 English police services’ – the first project of its’ kind in the UK. • Managed the design and implementation of several international projects including €20million digital forensics transformation project for Spanish law enforcement agencies and a similar scale project with US Border Force. • Introduced and delivered a central network for U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) across the whole of the US enabling a more secure and efficient entry system into US airports.

Counter Terrorism Command

• Designed, implemented and led a new, specialist counter terrorism unit considering and utilising the digital forensic capability for all suspicious activity around UK ports.• Established the unit as the national lead in digital forensic intelligence; delivered briefings and presentations at the most senior levels (including Ministers of State) and across the UK.• Sat on the National Policy Group as a technical expert and acknowledged as the national lead for CT Digital Forensics at the UK Border.

On returning to the MPS from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, I served as a custody officer. This is a challenging role that required an ability to think calmly in high tension environments whilst being cognisant of the requirements of adherence to legal and moral demands. I oversaw the reception, detention, release and overall care of individuals brought into a large London custody suite. Undertaking responsibility for often the most vulnerable in society on a daily basis embracing what is regarded as one of the most stressful and high responsibility roles within policing.

Jerusalem

• Based in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv; led and managed interdisciplinary teams to ensure the estate, personnel, communications and vehicle security of all UK staff working for the British government in both Israel and the Palestinian Territories. • Prevented and mitigated crime and espionage risks to the UK government.
