I lead the shoebox campaign which is a nationwide shoebox gift appeal to provide Christmas gifts to vulnerable children and families.Shoebox gifts are given to vulnerable children, or families, through schools, nurseries, hospitals and orphanages. Our aim is that each box is given in relationship with the local community as part of a long-term commitment to these children.I work with volunteers and organisations nationally to ensure each campaign is a success.In February '22 I led our work in supporting people in war torn Ukraine and over the border in both Poland and Romania. Street Rugby is a community project run by Wales Rugby League in partnership with national charity StreetGames and Wrexham Council with the aim is promoting youth activity and tackling problems of anti-social behaviour in North Wales.It makes rugby more accessible to young people (aged 11-18) across the region and uses principles of the game to inspire positive behaviour change.

I support the WRL North Wales Community Development Officer in running coaching sessions with children. I also on occasion run the adult touch Rugby League sessions.

Team Leader on the 'Team' project which is a 12-week personal development course, offering work experience, qualifications, practical skills, community projects and a residential week.The project was targeted at Young people aged 16 – 25: Especially if they are part of The Trust’s other target groups, which are: people leaving care, young offenders, educational underachievers and the long term unemployed.

I provided support to customers who were struggling to pay bills by offering a range of payment methods appropriate to the individual.
