Looking at my resume, it looks like a tangled, interweaved mess and you wouldnt be wrong for assuming 'this girl has no idea what she wants to do'. But throughout my working journey, I have always been pulled back to one concept, one area of passion, that is the people.I started my full time working career in staffing, a very challenging and ever changing job. I had high levels of people interaction and I loved it. I then moved onto a different location, but still in staffing. It was here that I really developed my recruitment and people skillset. It was a much smaller team, so I got to be as hands on as time would allow. Recruitment days were my absolute favourite. I loved meeting new people, hearing their journeys and stories. It really highlighted to me where my passions lay.I then found myself at Funlab, not in the People team, but assisting in running a venue. I was part of a brand new venue launch where I got to interview every single team member that would be joining us on our journey. It was across 2 days and while others were fatigued after meeting so many people, I was energised and ready to go.After gaining some insight into Funlab, their people and their venues, I am fortunate enough to have transitioned into the People team and I couldn't be prouder of the work we do. Every day I get to meet such amazing people, hear their journeys and celebrate with them. One of Funlab's Core Values is Encouraging your Uniqueness and it's something I hold dear and true. I get to be authentically myself (pink hair, glitter eyeshadow and glitter shoes everyday) doing a job I love.Funlab has become my family over the past 4 years and I'd love to be able to help others find their forever home like I have found mine.
