During this research project, I contributed to the doctoral study on the cultivation of medicinal cannabis and its interaction with different lighting systems. My responsibilities encompassed daily plant care, including fertilization programs, pruning, and the analysis of soil respiration. I also participated in harvesting activities, post-harvest handling, and processing of cannabis inflorescences, involving cleaning, trimming, decarboxylation, and dehydration procedures.Moreover, I assisted in the quantitative analysis of total cannabinoid content, ensuring adherence to precise protocols for sample preparation and data collection. These activities provided insights into the optimization of cultivation practices for therapeutic cannabis production, while simultaneously contributing to a better understanding of the interplay between lighting systems and plant growth performance.This experience honed my technical skills in horticulture, laboratory analysis, and agricultural research, equipping me with a comprehensive understanding of medicinal cannabis cultivation and its application in controlled experimental setups.

De Woningstichting aims to encourage tenants to create greener gardens for improved well-being, climate adaptation, and biodiversity. This consultancy project analyzed tenants' motivations and challenges regarding gardening through interviews and proposed measures to support greening efforts.The recommendations include three key tools:An overview of possible measures to promote garden greening.A measures diagram to guide policy focus.An evaluation scheme to assess and select suitable measures.The advice emphasizes using the diagram to identify policy priorities, tailoring the evaluation scheme to organizational needs, and considering the combination of measures for greater efficiency. Clear communication with tenants and post-implementation evaluation of measures are also essential for success.

I had the opportunity to work for the Cuppari Winery, where I was assigned as an assistant agronomist and was able to learn practical knowledge about the activities usually carried out in a vineyard such as: Green pruning, suckering, checkering, working the soil, fertilizing the soil with quantitative proportional calculation, application of plant protection products, evaluation of chemical concentrations of food components.

l vivaio Santacroce Domenico nasce nel 1992 in una zona a forte vocazione orticola.Il vivaio opera all'interno di serre di ultimissima generazione che si estendono su una superficie complessiva di mq 50000 di cui, una piccola area di circa 2000 mq, è destinata a garden center, dove sono esposte numerose specie di piante orticole destinate ad essere acquistate anche dai piccoli produttori.Le serre, tutte di tipo metallico con copertura in polietilene all'interno della quale le giovani plantule sono allevate in alveoli di polistirolo fuori terra su appositi bancali mobili metallici.La nutrizione delle colture avviene pure con l'ausilio di automatismi.La vendita delle piantine è sempre accompagnata dal passaporto delle piante CEE, rilasciato dal Servizio Fitosanitario Regionale. Grazie a questa piccola esperienza di apprendistato sono riuscito ad acquisire le competenze base per l'allevameto di colture indoor.
