I am first and foremost an advocate for engineering ideas, products, and systems to improve human lives either through disrupting a category by infusing wellness and sustainability or directly providing therapeutic care as a licensed provider. I’ve been able to use my background in engineering, film and a master’s degree in alternative medicine to build and scale better for you consumer product goods. Forbes, Health, Shape, Well + Good, and other outlets have featured my expertise as a wellness leader.Key skills include either direct experience or overseeing innovation, manufacturing and co-packing using sustainable methods, direct sales to large retailers like Target, Whole Foods, Walmart, ROI focused marketing, capital raise, PR, P&L management, distributor management, sales team management and projections, financial models, and overseeing all legal aspects including FDA and TTB compliance, vendor contracts, and investor documents. Awarded a scholarship to study Biomedical Engineering at USC , then worked at Warner Brothers Asia while attending The Beijing Film Academy, thereafter moved to NYC and graduated from NYU Tisch Film School with a minor in Pre-med. I worked as a producer in film and advertising for several years until I returned to my love of science after a devastating burn accident changed my view on prescription drugs. After I experienced the power of wellness, I pursued a 4 year master's degree in Alternative Medicine and Herbology at PCOM while working in marketing at Market Devco. After 15 years working at cancer hospitals, neurology centers and building a private practice on the east coast, I moved to LA with my husband and family and became an entrepreneur to help create and build "better for you" brands.
