Coordinate client intake process and assist with administrative flow of ISAC program for staff from 5 partner agencies. Provide information, guidance, case consultation, and technical assistance to staff. Assist in interviewing, training, mentoring and development of new staff. Identify opportunities to work collaboratively and coordinate activities and special projects with provider agencies and immigrant communities. Facilitate outreach and engagement to provider agencies to assist with building their capacity to provide accessible and culturally competent service delivery while improving quality of care. Collect, evaluate, and report key program data including assessment of needs and demographic information. Identify quality control issues, staffing needs, and analyze trends to recommend strategies to improve policies, practices, and standards. Responsible for oversight and maintenance of client database system. Represent ISAC with providers, committees, Allegheny County Department of Human Services, and in local immigrant communities. Acted as front-line support to respond to inquiries, assess needs, and determine level of service for clients with limited English proficiency. Managed the design, development, implementation, and administration of the peer led Refugee and Immigrant Support Group Program (RISG) held in multiple ethnic communities throughout Allegheny County. Responsibilities included recruitment of community leaders, approval of budgets and invoices, tracking of multiple groups running simultaneously, survey distribution, record-keeping, identifying new program opportunities, and planning for speakers, training, and events.
