Duties: Managing & leading research team, preparing research materials, scheduling, creating action plans, data entry on MS Excel, banding and surveying, overseeing operations to meet deadlines

My primary responsibility was designing, assembling and writing the 2013-2014 Conservation Education Activities Booklet using MS Publisher, MS Office Programs and Adobe Acrobat. In order to create the Booklet, I had to liaise and interview directors, supervisors, managers, curators, field researchers, zoo keepers and visitors to the Toronto Zoo. This involved photographing and documenting conservation events both on the zoo's property and outside. Throughout the season, I worked closely with the Executive Director of Conservation Education and Wildlife, Dr. William Rapley and the Head of Public Relations, Jennifer Tracey, to showcase the Toronto Zoo's accomplishments for their 40 year Anniversary in the 2013-2014 Booklet, revise 2012-2013 Conservation Education Activities Booklet and draft the conservation section for the 2013 Annual Report. In addition to my normal duties also assisted with field research by conducting mussel surveys in the Rouge River, helped in preparation of seal meat for nutritional research, aided in the creation of educational artwork & activities for MAD About Fishes event at the Toronto Zoo, resolved customer complaints/inquiries to ensure visitor's to the Zoo had a positive experience, created TEDx TALK PowerPoint presentation for Dr. Rapley, photographically documented the salmon and Blanding's turtle release in the Rouge River Watershed and produced an end of the year slideshow highlighting the summer students' research work and recognizing the people who have devoted their career to saving and protecting species.

Duties: Promote and educate the public on the No-Smoking By-law, communicate public feedback to internal operations, management and Mayor & Council, liaison with representatives from York Region Public Health Unit, York Region Tobacco Control and various non-profit organizations.

Duties: Responsible for all transactions that occured at register, positive customer service experience, inventory and sales knowledge, accurate order-taking, opening and closing tasks, food prep and clean up, serving hot and cold drinks & food, following all tasks & directions to standards set by Wendy's Corp. Policy and management.
