As the Conferencing & Events Sales Manager at QT Auckland, I have a strong focus on conferencing and events. Leveraging QT's proven track record of success, I excel at driving revenue growth and surpassing sales targets through strategic planning, effective client relationship management, and delivering exceptional service in our premier event spaces at QT Auckland.

My role within the QT reservations team includes responding to enquiries in an efficient, friendly and professional manner. As well as assisting with front office duties when required, I ensure enquiries are converted to confirmed reservations, maximising hotel rate and occupancy.

I joined the pre-opening team at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Queenstown and throughout the initial months of opening the hotel I cross trained throughout departments and moved into a role as a Duty Manager.

I acted as the point of reference for guests who needed assistance or information and attended to their wishes and requirements. It was my duty to provide guests with personalized solutions by suggesting activities and facilities provided by the resort.

Working throughout various dining and event outlets at this six-star, all-inclusive resort located within the Blue Mountains I performed tasks in a variety of different roles providing extremely personalised, professional assistance to guests.

Working within multiple roles in our 4.5-star boutique hotel, initially employed as a Receptionist, my passion is working in reservations working in conjunction with duty managers and the front office manager to ensure correct procedures are used in receiving, processing and confirming hotel reservations. Along with this I also work closely with the conferencing and events manager helping prepare and follow up quotes and contracts but also creating banquet event orders and working close with the hotels conferencing and event clients.

Employed as a Food and Beverage Attendant whilst completing my last 6 months of studying in Queenstown. Roles were similar to those experienced in Surfers Paradise although included more responsibilities within the Conferencing and Events at the hotel.

Queenstown Resort Collage Internship was completed at this property working in the Food and Beverage Department. Trained in all Food and Beverage Attendant Roles including Host, Email, phone calls, and managing reservations.
