Forming part of the Executive Leadership Team, I lead a cross-functional marketing team that is responsible for the successful mobilisation, launch and growth of various container deposit schemes (CDS) right across Australia. CDS are a reverse supply chain system that facilitate clean-stream recycling and enable the true circularity of drink container materials. Our organisation builds and operates the foundational technology that underpins the CDS industry in Australia. In marketing we are responsible for crafting brand, media strategy, and 360 campaigns, managing CX and web/portal development, and the management of ongoing customer engagement and member retention campaigns via our industry-specialised products and MA platforms. With our support, our scheme partners recycle close to 10 million containers every single day, and together we have diverted more than 10 Billion containers from landfill in the past five years. Reporting to the CEO, alongside the rest of the Executive team we also share collective responsibility for company leadership, management and operations as we move through the scale-up phase of our growth.

In this role I hold responsibility for overall agency and team leadership, P&L, new business, planning and ultimately for business success, I am member of the Senior Leadership Team, APAC and contribute to key projects and teams spanning Octagon’s global brand and markets – including the Octagon’s evolution to a creative agency model and brand.I have led the Australian agency through a period of immense transformation, rebuilding teams, culture, and our proposition in the market, producing positive and sustained margin and bottom-line revenue growth, with incredibly high satisfaction and trust built with our staff and clients alike.My biggest areas of focus involved an evolution of our specialised talent mix, building diverse and dispersed teams across three states, securing sustainable organic and new revenue, and improving our collaboration with other APAC markets, all while delivering outstanding and impactful work for our clients. At the time of my appointment, I was the first female Managing Director to oversee a market in Octagon’s marketing division, globally.Clients I've worked on include; Mastercard, QBE, Rexona, Coca-Cola, Powerade, XXXX Gold, Tooheys New Tooheys Extra Dry, Budweiser, Hyundai, Grant Burge and more.

A senior leadership role reporting to the Managing Director, APAC. In partnership with the MD and a team of agency and market leads across Asia Pacific, my remit was to identify and ensure the successful delivery of key projects and processes born of the Octagon group’s shared vision, investments and business priorities. I helped enable unprecedented business collaboration, staff satisfaction and agency growth and evolution. This was achieved through effective stakeholder management, clear and clever communication, project and change management, and the effective engagement of cross-functional divisions and expertise.The focus of the role would cover 2-3 key initiatives at any given time spanning; workflow and processes, business profit and efficiency audits, P&C programs, talent management and recruitment, risk, health and safety protocols, business affairs and insurances, and new market expansion.

Working with client service teams, review and lead response to all new briefs. Lead research, analysis and presentation/publication of proprietary research projects for the agency, including Passion Drivers.
