Excellence Consulting is a strategy management consulting firm collaborating with the main players of the Italian Banking, Insurance and Asset Management market.I worked on the development of the new financial advisory channel of a Dutch Banking Group, focusing on the creation of analytical models for the portfolio allocation and the cost optimization of the academy for junior financial advisors. For a second client, I worked on multiple projects related to the insurance products offer, from the launch of new type of insurance products and related processes to the creation of tools for the reporting of funds performance and their selection within the insurance products offer.

JEMP (Junior Enterprise of Politecnico di Milano) is an association of students offering management, IT and design projects to companies, using the tools and skills studied and developed in the university courses.Working in JEMP, I really understood what it means to know how to work in a team, how important this skill is to achieve excellent results or how, if underestimated, it can also knock down exceptional jobs. In fact, with other students I participated in the implementation of IT, management and branding projects.During this period I also had the role of Head of the Management & Control area, and my duties were:- decide the members of each of the project teams- support the project manager in the realization of the project- ensure the respect of deadlines with customers

As President, I represented the association with customers and state institutions, and I was involved in the association's short, medium and long-term strategic choices, managing the group of 40 students and making the junior enterprise more and more financial sustainable.

Together with the Lean Excellence Centre of Politecnico di Milano I worked on the design and implementation of a new assembly system for the industrial air compressor production.The analysis of the problem consisted in the study of the assembly activities, organized in a fixed position assembly system, and the related performance.The implementation phase required the design of a flow line assembly system, the review of the material procurement operations, the study of a new handling system and the creation of new standard working procedures.The entire project has been developed following Lean and Kaizen principles and brought to the assembly cost reduction by 20% for the main product and the increase of the assembly plan attainment by 25%.A scientific research paper has been written and has been published on the International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology.

I have been involved in two projects:- I supported the CFO of a SME of the automotive aftermarket sector during the period following the acquisition by a multinational group. I worked on the management of the sales database and the creation of monthly reports, operatively supporting the sales director, the supply chain director and the CFO.- I worked on the analysis and redesign of the revenue structure of a professional association.
