G-Ports provides a platform of commodity flow and port information databases to the international shipping and commodity markets where I am responsible with growing the business on all fronts.

In conjunction with the Global Freight Director, I established the freight trading desk at Peabody COALTRADE where I was initially responsible for establishing worldwide vessel operations working practises and then moved onto being Global Freight Chartering Manager in 2010. From shipping volumes of 3.5 mill mts in 2008, we built the freight desk up to volumes of in excess of 10 mill mts by 2013 and were primarily involved in the Supramax, Panamax, Baby Cape and Capesize dry cargo markets.In addition we were actively involved in the API4 FOB market ex Richards Bay Coal Terminal, South Africa where we transacted approx 10 mill mts p/yr.Our team increased from 2 in 2008 to 7 in 2013.

As part of shipping's largest industry backed Dotcom 1.0 startup I was primarily responsible for:1. Developing software for use within the shipping industry. 2. Marketing our software and 'vision' to the shipping industry3. Actively involved with top management and investors in advising on strategy

As part of a small team of 3 I was primarily responsible for all chartering and operations of Mosvold's operated fleet of Panamax and Capesize dry cargo vessels.

Joining as a trainee I gained invaluable experience in the operations andf chartering of a fleet of 17 dry cargo coaster vessels ranging from 2,200 - 12,500mts DWT. I worked up from Operations Department to the Chartering Department where I worked closely with the Chartering Manager in chartering in/out and scheduling the fleet of vessels.
