* Deployment of new code to Development, UAT, and Live environments.* Installation and maintenance of Developer tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Sentry, and other Continuos Integration software.* Installation and Maintenance of VMware hosts.* Creating VM's when requested.* Setting up new environments within a Data centre.* Bash scripting to resolve monotonous tasks.* Interact with Developers. and maintain positive relations between both Development and Operations departments.* Researching and test out new tools/software which can benefit and improve productivity within the business.* Day to day maintenance of the development environment.

System and monitoring support* Providing core system monitoring and support, both with a view on the platforms and on the core software and applications running in Adeptra’s production environment* Understanding the basic architecture of the Adeptra applications to provide problem identification, diagnosis and impact assessment within the operations team* Providing general systems support, including application deployment, configuration, infrastructure management, data-centre configuration and other related tasks in support of the core operations team.Incident Management* Providing first-line support to customers as part of the 24/7 monitoring helpdesk function. This requires regular follow-up with customers, diagnosis internally and escalation to and interworking with other Adeptra’s support teams* Use of a ticketing system to assist with managing multiple issues General technical support* General support to the Adeptra staff team, including PCs, laptops, networks, printers, etc. This kind of support is occasional and is shared between all members of the operations team.
