My role at CSI as a Client Director involves;- Managing the commercial relationships with some of our most strategic managed service clients.- Providing our clients with new products and services to help them resolve their business challenges.- Introducing new clients to CSI.- Working alongside the Service Delivery Managers to ensure customer satisfaction.- Forecasting and achieving sales targets.

This role involved working with an existing set of accounts, qualifying, proposing and ultimately closing opportunities with new and existing clients.The role involved the following aspects:. Developing new businessMy sales focus was on selling server solutions ranging from simple File & Print and Email solutions to more complex Citrix, VDI, VMware consolidation & Business Continuity solutions. Approximately 50% of my current revenue is achieved by selling IT Service solutions that included Technical Consultancy, Project Management, installation & configuration services and hardware & software support contracts. This role involved both telephone and customer facing and I regularly presented solutions to board level.

A Relationship / Account Manager for a large customer base.This role involved meeting with customers on a regular basis to discuss their requirements, creation of proposals, order fulfillment, consultancy and being the customer’s primary point of contact for day-to-day requirements.

I progressed to the role of an IBM Netfinity Server Technical Consultant providing consultancy to customers and sales colleagues on server configurations for Citrix, JDE solutions. This role also required regular meetings with clients to discuss their requirements, provide configuration documents and quotations and liaising with the Netfinity Team within IBM UK. The role also involved managing a set of customer accounts in the role of their Account Manager.

This was an internal role that involved supporting Account Managers and providing customers with pricing and recommendations for IBM ThinkPads, Desktops and servers solutions.

I re-joined the company again in the role of a Computer Engineer providing on-site support for numerous corporate customers such as P&G, Alfred Dunhill, ABI etc

I left Triangle and worked as an on-site Computer Engineer for Linetex Computers based in Surrey. In this position I was based in Dorchester providing on-site support to Dorset County Council. After 2-years in this role Linetex suffered financial difficulties and unfortunately I was made redundant.

After several years experience as a Field Engineer, I progressed to Engineering Manager and was responsible for a team of Engineers providing technical support to the customer base. This role involved managing engineering staff, customer liaison as well as hands-on field engineering.

I worked as a field engineer repairing and maintaining IBM, Apricot, Sirius and Wyse computers and terminals. This role involved both end-user telephone support and on-site visits to help solve computer related hardware and software issues.

I helped develop applications for Epson’s range of portable computers.This involved programming in MS BASIC language.
