I'm a professional coach and wellbeing science consultant with a background in management consulting. My passion and purpose is to enable optimal functioning in individuals, teams and organisations.I work across a number of coaching contexts and genres, including organisational, executive and leadership, developmental, performance and skills. My focus is on enabling coachees to achieve valued goals through developing their capability to meet current and prospective challenges. I do this by facilitating a process that allows coachees to gain an increasingly intricate understanding of the self, others and systems in which they are involved. My areas of expertise include supporting coachees to improve their: self awareness and emotional regulation techniques; leadership impact and strategic thinking capability; wellbeing and resilience strategies; quality of relationships and influence over stakeholders; communication and proficiency in having difficult conversations and giving feedback; decision making skills; capacity to adapt to complex and changing organisational environments; and ability to strive for excellence without perfectionism.I use an integrated coaching approach that draws on contemporary coaching theory and practice from: systemic coaching (understanding the system of factors influencing the coachee, including thoughts, emotions, behaviours, relationships, culture, role, organisation, and environment); behavioural coaching (using the GROW model and focusing on observable action to make and measure progress); positive psychology coaching (using the science of wellbeing, strengths, positive emotions, and a hopeful and optimistic future focus); evolutionary coaching (using neuroscience to understand how the brain works and how to effectively work with it); person-centred coaching (creating a relationship of warmth, genuineness and unconditional positive regard that enables people to naturally seek self-actualisation); and narrative coaching (identifying, understanding and shifting stories to create new options and outcomes).As a wellbeing science facilitator and consultant I apply positive psychology and wellbeing science theory and practice to a range of real-world contexts, developing and delivering a variety of presentations, trainings and interventions that are tailored to the needs of my clients.
