About Simon Hancock

I have dedicated the last 20+ years of my life to the IT industry and entrepreneurship, which has resulted in a number of amazing wins, as well as some heart-wrenching failures. My passion is working in, and with, small-to-medium businesses and their owners, where I am able to provide strategic direction, technology stewardship and facilitate change programs to support digital disruption. During the past two decades of founding, leading and growing IT businesses, I have developed an empathy and deep understanding of how daunting the IT landscape can be for business owners and executives.It was this experience that led me to founding Cloud Armour. My aim is to assist clients and their businesses with making sense of digital transformation, and further, to leverage the greatest possible value from their investment in technology.

    After fulfilling my role with Datacom Systems Victoria for approximately 14 months, I was seconded to the national Education Solutions group within Datacom as a Business Development Executive, with the aim of driving a nationalised, differentiated offering for the organisation within the education sector. As part of this role I worked alongside state-based BDM's, Sales GM's and Directors to leverage local delivery capabilities and technical expertise, whilst embedding nationalised solutions blended with best-practice pedagogical strategies to deliver the best outcomes for our customers.
