Examples of my work at PA Consulting include:• Programme manager within the ring fencing programme for a top four UK bank, leading the client on-boarding workstream, including client data migration. Led the scoping study to mobilise this workstream, examining over 80 different client data systems, built the delivery roadmap and led the completion of the work, including multiple transition events and post-producting support for the launch of the new banking entity. • Turned around the cheque image integration programme between a major industry supplier and a major UK retail bank; establishing a programme team working approach that ensured that this client got the priority delivery support they required. This enabled the client bank to have key systems, including fraud detection, live in advance of the industry-wide implementation.• Led systems and conduct risk remediation to mitigate potential Consumer Credit Act (CCA) breaches. This allowed my client bank to proactively address these issues, which minimised customer detriment, avoided negative publicity and preserved their “light touch” level of regulatory oversight.• Programme assurance over a London derivatives exchange clearing house build, reporting to the CEO, COO and audit and risk committee, leading to a successful launch of a new clearing house on schedule.• Programme design and mobilisation for a central bank's real-time payments platform modernisation, to be based on the ISO 20022 standard.

• Led “Key Drive” technology project teams, reporting directly to the CIO. This focused on high-risk, high-reward technology transformation. An example project of mine was the implementation of a new lending decision engine, which led to increased loan booking rates and the ability to implement lending policy changes within days rather than months. Using Agile methods, I led this team to have the initial release live in just 90 days.• Received a Chairman’s Award for the successful delivery of a complex IT programme that enabled the bank to implement a role-based customer relationship management model, requiring coordinated data model changes across all of the bank’s business systems and flawless transformation of over one million customer records.

• Designed and lead the strategic reorganization, business processes re-engineering and technology implementation to build a customer service department within a manufacturing firm, enabling this firm to maintain their position as the most trusted brand in their sector.• Testified as an expert witness in US Federal court, at depositions and arbitration hearings on a range of technical subjects. Also drafted expert witness briefs of failed software implementations.

• Led CRM and Sales and Service component of major business transformation and systems integration project for a Seattle-based bank. This included core banking system replacement and a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) implementation, along with integration to many third-party service providers. Utilized Portrait (Aperio) CRM.• Managing consultant role on software implementation projects for First Tennessee Bank, American General Insurance, Prudential Bank and KeyBank. All projects were focused on improving the sales and/or service business process, enabled by new technology, based on CSC 3r, several integrating to CSC Hogan. Portrait is a cutting-edge Business Technology system, which included many Business Process Management (BPM) features. (c.f. Pega PRPC and IBM Lombardi.) This technology forms the core system of the Fiserv Aperio systems.Portrait Software and is now a part of Pitney Bowes Business Insight. The firm's products are implemented at major US and UK banks, including Tesco Bank, Nationwide Building Society, KeyBank and US Bank.

Responsible for leading a team in the design, development and testing of major enhancements to the KeyCounselor (CBD) system developed for KeyCorp.

Development of client-server system (CRS), for Fiserv, which interfaced to the ICBS program on an AS400 host system and provided functionality for customer and account servicing.
