I am a Partner in the PwC Melbourne corporate tax group who has worked for a variety of large institutional and multi-national clients across a range of industries with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and international taxation issues.My deal experience has involved due diligence, advising on the taxation aspects of share sale agreements, cross-border investment structuring, post acquisition restructuring and refinancing and corporate reorganisations. International experience includes a two year secondment in Jakarta, Indonesia assisting multi-national clients in the energy, utilities and mining sector on the taxation aspects of inbound investment in Indonesia. During my time in Indonesia I also worked on the development of PwC's practice in emerging Timor-Leste and PwC Indonesia’s sustainability and climate change practice including advising on avoided deforestation (REDD+) projects. In 2013 I was selected as part of the University of Melbourne's Asialink Leaders Program.Since returning to Australia I have continued my work as a corporate tax adviser predominantly to ASX listed companies, foreign multi-nationals and the insolvency industry on the taxation aspects of formal appointments and restructures. My industry focus remains on the energy and mining industry. I currently work for a number of large and mid-cap resources clients; contribute to PwC's mining thought leadership and other initiatives, including being involved with our flagship global mining publication "Mine" over the past few years (project lead in 2016) and developed our "compare mining taxes" tool; and I am also active in many industry forums.
