Having spent much of childhood on my Welsh grandparent’s dairy farm, I developed a love of both Wales and a fascination for nature and earth sciences. I gained an honours degree in Mining Engineering from Camborne School of Mines in Cornwall and have since lived and worked in many countries across the world.I am a connector. Bringing together disparate people, groups and organisations to transform possibilities into plans and action. I have over 10 years experience of mining businesses - having run businesses and worked in teams organising projects with budgets of up to US$1 billion. Over the past 26 years, I have also shown my ability to innovate, set up and act as a senior company officer in: biotechnology, arboreal culture, medical cannabis, alongside mining. As a CEO in companies, I have first hand knowledge of running boards of directors. As a senior manager or non-executive director, I have experience working with teams taking companies from start-up to a public listing (IPO).My belief in humanity and its ability to solve global issues (through politics and innovation) has brought me into serving and volunteering for multiple non-profit companies and charities.
