From 1990 principally responsible for automated operations efforts, installing, customising, designing and programming tools that enabled automated management of all aspects of systems operations on MVS, Tandem NSK, and distributed systems.This included full system startup and shutdown, system state monitoring, automated problem ticketing, automated prioritised phone/pager callout to support staff, and numerous automated responses to common and unusual system events.
