The Personnel Department is a staffing and recruitment agency in downtown Vancouver. I work there as a field service agent. I travelled to England for a working vacation in 2005. I got a bartending position at the Chequers Inn, (now out of business, I believe) to help fund my extended stay. After six months and the termination of the employment of the General Manager, I was promoted to Assistant General Manager and working with the other AGM to run the pub with minimal oversight from the corporate office.
