Responsible for Trio's European business. In this role I identified Trio's Value Proposition to its customers, developed a marketing plan and implemented it. I also managed the companies existing distributors and appointed new distributors through out countries in Europe.

I was responsible for the New Zealand marketing and communication program, product management and business strategies. I led a new initiative designed to position RA as a business improvement and productivity enhancing company. This activity was viewed by Rockwell as a potential blueprint.I also project managed a large 2 day RA showcase event and have contributed to the companies implementation of distributors. I had 11 direct reports.

Responsible for Sales & Marketing of Aerotech's precision positioning systems throughout Europe.I managed both UK and German subsidiary offices and 8 exclusive representatives throughout Western Europe. Key responsibilities included identification of new products for the European market, sales growth and product marketing. During my period of employment I was acknowledged for consistently achieving growth and moving the company forward in Europe.

Responsible for European support of all Aerotech’s positioning equipment. I promoted a team work policy to the service department to enable better communication and cooperation between the sales and technical departments. The service department was changed from a cost centre to a commercial concern during this period. I was promoted to product specialist and made responsible for sales of motion control systems.

My main role was to provide complete solutions to industry from the product portfolio. I gained many new OEM accounts through initiating strong staff support. Responsible for a staff of 8 people at the Lichfield branch, who distributed motion control equipment from suppliers such as Emerson Motion Control, Trio Motion.Technology, API, Phytron, Custom Servo Motor and Aerotech.

Responsible for sales and application assistance of Stebon’s products and a wide range of electronic products from manufacturers such as Trio Motion Control, RTA and ACS Electronics.

Worked as part of a team specialising in design of dedicated hardware and software solutions for industry. Tasks included Windows C++ programming, C programming for target hardware development and electronic circuit design. Was transfered to this company from Deemstop.

Worked as part of a 3 man team developing products for monitoring power usage in spindle motors. I completed beta trials in manufacturing plants such as Nissan.

I completed a 4 year EITB Accredited technical apprenticeship specialising in production engineering. I was made responsible for machine control systems and developed company wide standards for control systems and programming methods.
