I researched and implemented the most sophisticated and valuable analytic feature in the BalancePoint product, Performance Index. I performed hundreds of TPCC/H performance benchmark tests on EMC CLARiiON storage array to understand storage system behavior and identify optimal queueing curves. I implemented a queueing network to model application, server and storage in the data center, and then calculate the performance index. It resulted in a simple metric to show how well the server and storage infrastructure was matched to the applications' requirements. It enabled advance IT resource planning and optimization.

I implemented the Activity Query Logging Service to log staff function activities for later review. I developed the logging service archive system to transfer old database records from disk to tape and retrieve from tape upon request.
