iCareHealth built a leading market position in the provision of software solutions to the social care sector in the UK. Investors achieved a successful exit when the business was sold to Access Group in October 2018.

In my role as CEO I worked with the local managers to leverage organisation capability and capacity across the UK, Australia and Malaysian teams to deliver great outcomes to our clients, and enhanced growth for the group. iCareHealth is the leading provider of clinical, care and medication management software in Australia with an emerging presence in the UK. A private held company founded in Australia in 2002, over that period we’ve assisted hundreds of residential aged care and home care organisations to take advantage of technology to achieve measurable, organisation-wide efficiencies. Over the years, our team built a loyal and growing client base which provide care to nearly 50,000 residents using our flagship Clinical and Care Management software, and manage close to 30,000 of these with our Medication Management software – figures that are unrivalled by any other supplier in the market. The reach of our Home Care software, which focuses on scheduling, rostering, CDC and mobility, is also growing rapidly in Australia following its success in the UK. The success of that strategy resulted in the sale of iCareHealth's Australian operations to Telstra Health in November 2014. As part of that transaction the shareholders retained the UK and Malaysian operations and I transitioned to the role of chairman of iCareHealth (UK) Limited.

MYOB is the leading provider of accounting software to small business and accounting practices in Australia and New Zealand.During my time with MYOB I managed key transactions, including the sale of the UK operations in 2008 for A$80m, the take private by Archer Capital in 2009 for A$550m and the sale to Bain Capital in 2011 for A$1,250m.I was responsible for managing the corporate services to the business (IT, HR, finance, organisational development and risk management), investor relations, financial management and reporting and corporate development. During 2007 I was responsible for managing our UK operations, and their subsequent divestment in 2008.
