• Established a joint venture carbon practice with EcoSecurities PLC (subsequently owned by JP Morgan). Advisory work included ETS forestry for Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (MAF), and numerous greenhouse gas.
• Navigated a new market to become a world authority on carbon forestry, arranging the first international trade of forestry carbon credits.

• In my five year tenure on the Board, the market value of the company increased fivefold to approximately NZ$2.5b and committed to new investments, mostly wind generation, worth over NZ$500m.
• Added rigour in transfer pricing and capex decision-making in a cohesive way, helping the board to function superlatively. Top performer on the NZX in 2006.
