I have over 25 years experience in the rail industry, including 6 years within Signalling, both as a consultant and directly employed by Network Rail. I have led a number of teams and have experience of all stages of a project from investment papers through procurement and construction to contract close out. I have significant Signalling experience and have also worked on track renewals and major station redevelopment.I recently led the Capita Network Rail Southern Commission encompassing a varied selection of projects including West Anglia Mainline Capacity Improvement (£170m), Sussex Power Supply Upgrades (£120m) and Redhill Station (£60m). I also lead development teams involved with Crossrail 2 and Brighton Mainline Upgrade.When at Network Rail I was the Programme Commercial Manager for Crossrail West Signalling. I led a multidisciplinary Commercial team in delivering the Signalling portfolio as part of the Network Rail surface works. During my time on the programme I worked collaboratively with the Signalling delivery team and Contractors to deliver contract strategies and led negotiations on all claims and major variations.I am NEC3 and NEC4 accredited. I have experience of ICE/ICC, NEC3 Option C, MF/1 and IChemE contract forms. I have worked on a large variety of NR forms including NR2, NR3, NR4, NR9 (S&T), NR11 and RT18 (S&T). Before that a number of years on target cost contracts NR12 & RT24 (S&T). I successfully passed the Network Rail Business Leaders Programme.
