This position incorporates a large number of the skills used in the previous, but with a specialization and project focus on physical datacenter to multi cloud migrations, Installation of Azure AD and replacement of local active directory. As well as the headline projects, the whole ecosystem of dependencies and prerequisites like rationalization of the existing systems and stabilization and or resolving previous misconfigurations. Some to the key technologies used:- Azure AD connect, Azure AD and Azure AD domain services- Azure deployments of resource groups, networks, peering virtual gateways- Azure backup and redundancy using multiple regions- Azure storage containers, fileshares and blob storage- Microsoft Intune, Defender, ATP, Cloud App Security, Oath2, SAML- Microsoft 365 - Intune, jamf, defender, cloud app security- AWS infrastructure deployment and migration- Exchange Hybrid to cloud migration- Local AD restructure, sync and cloud migration- Application Packaging and deployment via Intune / jamf

Building on the skills and experience of my previous positions, and with a focus on cloud technologies, this role has seen me become the principal lead in areas of security and administration. I have researched and designed solutions that have been approved, and I have implemented them and created support procedures around them. Some specific examples have been Azure AD tenant migrations, Conditional access policies, inTune implementation and onboarding and the move to SAML for custom apps. I have designed and implemented logging solutions with Grafana on ELK and I have worked on AWS active directory integrations and with VPNs to Azure and used Azure Sentinel, ATP and Defenderto track and alert on incidents.Technologies used primarily in this role:- Azure AD connect, Azure AD and Azure AD domain services- Azure builds including VMs resource groups, Nat Gateways etc- AWS EC2, RDS, ELK and VPC (NSGs, route tables, vpns)- Clustered and stacked Fortigates deployment and management- Microsoft Intune, Defender, ATP, Cloud App Security, OAth, SAML- Windows Virtual Desktop using Azure virtual desktop- Vmware cluster deployment and management- Exchange online- Multi-tenant and multi-domain trusts and migration- Darkltrace- Zabbix, Grafana, ELK and Sentinel seim

A dynamic combination of 3rd line support and project work in the arenas of networks, security and systems. This includes managing, monitoring and administering a diverse and large base of physical, virtual and clustered servers with operating systems ranging from Windows 2012 to 2019 and also Linux. Providing expertise from the wire to the cloud. On a daily basis, doing low level troubleshooting of issues and working on and planning projects. An example of the breadth of skills used in this role would be troubleshooting TCP sessions on an API in the cloud in the morning, and planning firmware upgrades for the weekend, and installing a new Hyper-V cluster in the afternoon. One of the key things about this role is that it is diverse, yet specialist in the areas I cover. Providing support for a 24/7 operation that is downtime averse. This position involved not only support in a traditional sense, but increasing administration of critical systems.
