Grant Thornton PS Advisory and BDO BDO Strategic Development & Advisory merged on the 1st December 2018. We then moved with some existed projects from Grant Thornton to BDO. The duties were the same as of Grant Thornton PS Advisory: Analyzing data and writing of reports for various projects; Managing fieldwork researchers progress online in the program called Esurveyspro;Supervising fieldwork researchers at the various events and intercepts;Research Planning for different projects;Conducting market surveys and site visits for the feasibility studies and tourism development strategies;Conducting telephonic surveys, accommodation surveys and data analysis;Attending tender briefings in the whole of KZN province and writing of the proposals; Developing and editing the questionnaires; andUpdating the South African Hotel Review Monthly Report (STR Data) for BDO.PROJECT EXPERIENCEI was playing prominent roles in the teams that conducted the following projects: Durban ICC Hotel Feasibility Study & Business Plan which will end very soon;Durban University of Technology Business School Feasibility Study; Durban Tourism Socio-Economic Impact Assessment study which began in May 2016 and finished in May 2019;Project leader of the Moses Mabhida Stadium Events EIA which began in October 2018 and finished in October 2019; andSASTA Animal Interaction (Desktop Research).

I served as a Part-Time Travel and Tourism Lecturer for two years at ICESA College and have 5 years of tourism research private tutoring experience for different Durban academic institutions such as DUT, UKZN, UNISA and MANCOSA College students. Since 2016, I have been moderating for DUT tourism examination papers (Riverside Campus) and ICESA College (Durban Campus) tourism examination papers. The subjects that I am moderating for ICESA College include Tourism Development III, Travel & Tourism Management III and Travel & Tourism Practices III, and for DUT I only moderate Ecotourism Management III.
