With a solid background in educational technology and instructional techniques, my journey led me to AmeriCorps VISTA, where I applied over a decade of experience to drive community engagement and educational outreach for Plaza Diane CommunityCenter for the Arts. My mission is to leverage my expertise in K-12 education to empower the next generation. I am committed to creating meaningful impacts that resonate with the values and goals of education, bringing diverse insights and innovative approaches to the table.As an AmeriCorps VISTA, I coordinated outreach initiatives, employing my skills in educational technology to develop and implement strategies that enhance learning experiences and marketing concepts. My role involved collaborating closely with community stakeholders and the community residents to foster an environment where technology and art became a bridge rather than a barrier, drawing upon my experience as a former Computer Teacher to tailor effective educational solutions in art appreciation and and art making.
