About Chris Stanfield
I bring a honest but fair work ethic, having been a network engineer for the better part of the past decade. I have network automation experience using Python, Powershell, Visual Basic, and bash scripting. I'm currently automating workflows and standardizing configuration templates for my team, with plans of automating configuration changes in the near future.I have hands on experience with a plethora of networking platforms, from Cisco's IOS suite of Operation Systems, to the heart of Software Defined Networking: Openstack. I've also had the pleasure of being a part of a network deployment for a minor league stadium in Columbia, SC. Around this stadium was a planned apartment complex, which was to be fed IP, IPTV, and VoIP by my company. I was a part of designing the GPON network (GPON being the technology to provide said services) that ended up feeding this complex. Finally, I've even had "Layer 1" experience (aka running fibers); from running fiber from one end of a Colocation to another, to using scotch lock connectors to connect a T1 bundle to a de-braided Ethernet cable, all to connect phones for an elevator test.
