As a camp instructor, I have attained three years of curriculum development targeted towards various age demographics and children with special needs. This included planning engaging activities centered around robotics, coding and 3D printing. I have lead camps and workshops at different schools in Calgary each adapting to the schools diverse needs. This role enhanced my teamwork, leadership, and public speaking skills during my years under Actua.

As a science team lead, I co-managed a sub team of eight members where I lead meetings and set milestones for our team to work towards. Our focus was on conducting chemical experiments to analyze soil samples to determine key properties of the land like pH levels, mineral content and traces of water. In addition, we closely worked with the mechanical sub team to design an auger which would pick up these soil samples. All these efforts were put in with the intention of competing in the Canadian International Rover Challenge. This team effort earned us 3rd place in Canada and 5th place internationally.

As a representative of the Undergraduate Liaison Committee for the Department of Physics and Astronomy, I provided communication between students and the faculty. We focused on student concerns, departmental improvements and other academic challenges. My responsibilities included attending monthly meetings with professors, the department head, and other committee members in decision making.
