FEED Objectives: Deepen capacity of agricultural enterprises to participate at scale in the livestock value chain and strengthen sustainability through greater integration with the private sector. Expand trade of agricultural products in the live-stock and poultry sectorsResponsibility:Lead Planning, Organizing, Implementing and Monitoring of the project activities.• Preparing farmer training, experience sharing visits, establishment of forage nurseries and livestock feed oriented enterprises within the assigned region in accordance with work plan.• Manage the regional budget and ensure efficient use of project financial and physical resources.• Coordinate and oversee regional technical staff and consultants and their support to project participants.• Support regional M&E and Grants staff activities.• Oversee activities of FEED III regional support staff.• Write and submit reports in a timely manner as requested.• Maintain close contact and good relations with project stakeholders within the region.

- Assisted the regional project coordinator in planning, implementing, and monitoring project activities like Facilitating of Linkages within input providers, processors, agents and consumers on concentrated animal feed and green forage, Linkage development on Access to Finance and support and monitor the concentrated feed production and marketing within the assigned region in accordance with the work plan.• Provide technical assistance in my area of specialization to project participants and management to project participants.• Develop training manuals and materials on Business Development and entrepreneurship skill and record keeping and financial management for small and medium enterprises and cooperatives.• Support in organizing and participation in training programs for the project stakeholders (cooperatives, unions, small holders’ members, extension staffs, private sector actors:• Support project M&E staff (e.g. Surveys development and implementation, identification of grant opportunities, assistance to grantees in business plan development);• Assist project beneficiaries (farmers’ cooperative unions/ enterprises) in marketing and business expansion.• Write and submit reports in a timely manner as requested.• Maintain close contact and good working relationships with government and university experts.• Identify innovative ways to maximize program effectiveness and outcome sustainability.
