I have been in the online Documentation Management Industry of Medical Transcription for almost 20 years now. My last job was a Medical Language Specialist for Nuance Transcription services, Bangalore. My responsibilities included editing medical reports for errors in reports, correct English errors in the documents, edit the reports for correction flagged by the juniors, etc. My in-detail hands-on experience has enabled me to manage the online contents and documentation process in any industry that require English language skills, computer application skills, and knowledge of medical terminology. I have been working online from home for the last 12 years, and had been familiar with my previous company’s specific online platform activities. Being familiar with the online work and activities, I can easily adapt myself to any specific requirements needed for online work management and execution.During my tenure, apart from my work as full-time Medical Language Specialist, I have also volunteered with Venad Education and Social Services, Poonthura, and Coastal Students Cultural Forum, an NGO based in Trivandrum, to teach English for the underprivileged coastal teenagers. I have also conducted career guidance programs for the same NGOs during summer vacations. My sessions with these teenagers have been well appreciated and I have also been approached by them to take online English classes for the Coastal students during this lock-down period. My fluency in English, familiarity with medical terminology, skills as a teacher, and working online for the last 12 years, will enable me to easily adapt myself to any position that require my skill-sets.
