As a multi-disciplinary artist based in London, my portfolio encompasses a wide range of disciplines, including photography, filmmaking, storytelling, and the visual arts. My work in photography has been featured in prominent publications such as The Guardian, Daily Mail, and Metro, allowing my visual stories to reach a broad audience. My photographic works have achieved international acclaim, being published in over 80 countries.Exhibitions of my artwork in India, Iran, and at the Stanley Picker Gallery in Kingston have showcased my varied creative interests. Through The Simorgh Project, where I served as a practitioner, I have enriched students' understanding of storytelling, photography, and filmmaking, merging educational initiatives with my artistic pursuits.I have also cultivated a strong background in media and social media management, pivotal for effectively conveying complex ideas and engaging with a wide audience. My role as a newsletter editor has enabled me to produce content that connects with readers, complemented by my language translation skills, especially between Farsi and English, enhancing my advisory capabilities in media strategy.Following a Master of Arts degree from the Kingston School of Art, with a specialisation in filmmaking, I have gained considerable experience that shapes my approach to creating films that challenge and engage viewers. My studies in photography, theatre, and literature have further broadened my artistic perspective.My dedication to community engagement is reflected in my volunteer work for various charitable causes. This commitment has not only allowed me to contribute positively to my community but also to refine my leadership, project management, and advisory skills, especially in the areas of media and social media management. In addition to my artistic endeavours, I have dedicated a significant part of my career to working with refugees, primarily from Iran and Afghanistan. This work has taken place across various countries, where I have utilised my skills in photography, storytelling, and filmmaking to document and share their stories. This engagement has not only been a profound source of personal growth but has also highlighted the resilience and humanity of these communities, often underrepresented in the media.
