Roles & Responsibilities as Antivirus EngineerSetting up NAV server across location.Managing 25 Symantec Antivirus servers in different ODC's.Managing more than 6500+ client machines in ODC's.Generate reports to be sent to the Site-In charge / ODC manager.Manage daily reports in NAV server.Troubleshooting various viruses on the affected systems.Handling calls related to NAV issues.Setting up WSUS server across location.Monitoring WSUS Console. Checking Microsoft Patch Updations are happening regularly in the clients.Troubleshooting the clients where Patch Updations are not happening.SCCM installation & trouble shooting.Roles and responsibilities as Team LeadEnsure that all the policies and procedures are adhered to achieve 100% compliance.Constantly study the trend of virus/worms/Trojans etc. on the internet and should ensure that Symantec has the required definition which can mitigate the risk and if not should coordinate with the vendor and get the rapid release version.Proactive guidance & Proactive suggestions on process improvement, technology enhancement/optimization, better service delivery through tools.Preparing dashboard and submission of weekly Antivirus reports.Conducting trainings for the location NAV engineers on the antivirus management and latest trends.Ensure the workflow of all antivirus management activities.Coordinating with L2 engineers, location NAV and monitoring team for closure of issues as per the SLA.Facing monthly internal and external audit & IRMC audits.Audits attended:IRMC audits. Involved in certification audits like ISO 20000.Quarterly audit from internal audit team.
