Working with designers and buyers to achieve high quality designs for multiple price points, from entry level to press pieces. From initial research and mood boards to sending international suppliers final tech packs including artworks and keys, I am involved in every part of the process to meet seasonal trend briefs created by Design Directors. Also assisting the print team in colour work, catwalk and trend packs, archiving, creating print overview boards and orders of strike offs for each season.

Compiling trend and research packs, season mood boards, and new season imagery. Sourcing trims and components, as well as vintage garments and embroidery swatch hangers. Organising and updating embroidery archive, both physical and digital. Creating to scale CAD artworks for both embroidered and embellished product with corresponding keys. Assisting in embroidery developments for special projects as well as occasional accessory design.

Aiding the evening wear dresses team in design and development of embellishment and embroidery ideas for premium ranges such as Salon, Limited Edition, bridal etc. Tasks include: sourcing of components and fabrics, research regarding colours and fabrics, creative sampling to develop motif and placement ideas, creating artworks either using CAD, cut-and-paste or hand drawing skills and liaison with manufacturers. Working with the customer in mind, creating fun and young trend-led designs.

Aiding the production of embellished samples for the A/W 2016 LFW show and Resort 2017 collection, using Swarovski crystal on luxury fabrications. Working to a tight deadline under pressure, sampling and testing motif ideas whilst working on final garments. Also working on production pieces from the S/S 2016 line for high-end retailers alongside completing bridal and bespoke client orders.

Hand sewing, embroidery and applique as well as more alternative processes such as enamelling and laser cutting. Liasing with factories, creating mock-ups and samples, and problem solving. Utilising embroidery machinery aswell as sewing machines. Aiding design of embroidery using Photoshop and Illustrator. Other general errands such as sourcing trims and embellishments. Dressing at the A/W 2014 show as well as working on showpieces, and developing initial sampling for Resort collection. In charge of the sampling archive for the embroidery team.

Prepping and sewing toiles, product development, cutting out toiles and final samples, embellishment/embroidery tasks and general hand sewing, preparing factory packs, and liasing with manufacturers in London. I was also lucky to be involved with the creation of the installation in the brands first London store, and to help dress at the S/S 2014 show aswell as aid the Pre-fall 2014 lookbook shoot.
