As a Coordinator, I partnered with instructional staff at Kurt Hahn Expeditionary Learning School to facilitate and teach the HealthCorps curriculum of nutrition, physical fitness, and mental resilience to high school students. I developed and built strong relationships with both students and school district personnel including administrators and faculty to deliver all components of the HealthCorps program. I established, directed, and sustained after-school programs throughout each school semester in service of developing and mentoring youth. I managed community-based outreach projects within the school community, organized and oversaw health-promoting events and activities at and beyond the school site, and conducted research and evaluation with the HealthCorps Research Department.
