I got accepted as a Product Support Engineer role at Microsoft. The primary function was to offer excellent technical product support to Microsoft's Premier Customers with a global footprint. Understanding customer needs & getting to the heart of their problems, and with a passion to transform customer experience on Microsoft's product line was the key to success every day.Staying-focused, Self-driven and adapting to newer technological changes helped on the technical pieces of the job role. Solving highly complex level of problems, with logical & conceptual thinking, for large enterprises which utilized my rich skills in Active Directory (AD), DNS, Group Policy, PKI, SSL Certificates, AD-LDS, ADFS areas.On some occasions, analyzing complex problems by using trace analysis, source code, and other sophisticated debugging tools to solve problems and meet customer needs.Responsibility to efficiently managing the relationship with Microsoft customers, taking accountability of moderately strategic accounts.Often managing problems which were not only technically complex, but politically charged situations and that required a highest level of customer handling skills including escalation handling, was challenging yet an enriching exposure.Bestowed with "Great People, Great Performance" prestigious award at Microsoft was a very satisfying achievement and a high point in career.

My primary function at a tertiary level was to offer excellent support to Microsoft's Enterprise Customer Base and also act as technical mentor to junior/mid-level support engineers.I was utilized in AD, DNS, DHCP, WINS, AD Group Policy, Profiles, PKI, FRS, DFSR, DC Performance, AD-LDS, Domains technology, and everything else that requires a knowledge of both Core and Networking.I also focused on diagnosis of complex problems in the product with little debugging.Partner with product group in Bangalore or Redmond for the purpose of relationship building and knowledge absorption. Sharing that knowledge by offering technical triage to internal staff, writing solution articles for complex problems, brainstorming, sometimes involve in understanding of an additional product or 3rd party product by collaborating with cross-team & cross-product, deriving the solutions for end customers, was all part of job role.

Exposure at Convergys India, in my foundation years, was an all-round grooming. Representing Microsoft, as a Frontline Engineer, in a customer centric environment, communicating to customers via telephone, email & other electronic media, was very exciting and challenging yet an equally exciting new world.A strong desire to 'know more' and an 'ever-growing curiosity' helped me learn Windows Operating Systems.
