I am part of the team exploring informal livelihoods, climate vulnerability, and city-wide action to build resilience in Siliguri and Coimbatore. (2017-2018)Long-term Implications of Short-term Humanitarian Responses: An IIED-funded project under the Urban Crises Learning Fund examining how short-term, relief-oriented responses shape longer-term urban planning and development trajectories. Working as a postdoctoral researcher on the IDRC/DFID funded international research programme: CARIAA (Collaborative Adaptation Research in Africa and Asia). My work at the ASSAR (Adaptation at Scale in Semi-arid Regions) consortium involves investigating and testing new approaches and methods to reduce climate vulnerability and enable climate adaptation at scale in semi-arid regions in India.

Working with the Landscapes for People, Food and Nature Initiative that seeks to scale up successful strategies to simultaneously improve livelihoods, conserve biodiversity and ecosystem services, and facilitate food security. Under this initiative, a global review of integrated landscape management initiatives is being carried out. I am responsible for primary data collection with multiple stakeholders across South Asia and synthesizing the findings.
