Projects Executed for Barclay Pre Deal Check (PDC): PDC does credit checking for both PFE vs trading limits and cash flows vs settlements. It's a very low latent system. The credit checks are done instantly to check the risk from proposed trade is within trade limits. The various products covered by PDC are Money Market lending, FX Spot, forwards, NDFs and swaps etc.PDC is linked to BARX, SPARTA, Banker tool, MTC (electronic trading platform for FX, FX Options). When clients trade over to BARX (or any other trade tools); PDC does a credit check in the background.Credit Value Adjustment (CVA-BASEL3): CVA system sources trade exposures data and uses Quantitative Analytics (QA lib) functions to consider exposures, Credit Default Swaps (CDS), Credit Default Swaps Index (CDS-I), hedges and invoke Specific Risk Engine (SRE) for value at Risk (VAR), CS01 and PnL calculation. This is later used to calculate Standard and Advanced charges for regulatory reporting. Electronic Credit Review (ECR): ECR automates static reference information, credit limits, collaterals and grading of counterparty group and its sub counterparties. Electronic Credit File (ECF): ECF is document management system (DMS) for credit risk unit. A system is design and develops to handle terabytes of documents and retaining/accessing of it for long time frame.Credit Authority and Entitlement (CA&E): CA and Entitlement is AAA based security solution. It helps in authentication, authorization and auditing activities in highly distributed systems.
