About Manan Singh
I am a multi-disciplinary researcher who is interested in integrated approaches towards a sustainable and resilient built environment. In addition to their contributions to climate change mitigation, such approaches also generate adaptation capabilities so that we are not only ready to face the negative impacts of climate change but are also positioned to leverage such impacts to the benefit of society. Given the diverse set of mechanisms and phenomena that relate the climate to the built environment, I utilize expertise in statistical analyses, geographical information systems (GIS), building design, and heat transfer to apply unique solutions that transcend the boundaries of any individual field of research. My current research focuses on statistical modeling of urban air temperatures using multidimensional data obtained from on-site observations, remote sensing, and physics-based simulations.
Listed skills include Microsoft Office, Research, Matlab, Autocad, and 32 others.
