     From Sep 2012 to Nov 2012: As a part of the GET induction programme, I worked on the project “Segregation of Coarse and Fine Fly Ash” at Maithon Power Plant (2 X 525 MW). The purpose of undertaking this project was that due to high percentage of coarse ash in Fly ash, it couldn’t be utilized by Cement Industries. Hence ash disposal was a big problem for the plant. The necessary modifications were suggested in the existing Ash Handling System along with the cost implications and profitability.  From Jul 2012 to Aug 2012: I underwent 8 weeks training course “Foundation Training Program for GETs” conducted by the National Power Training Institute (NPTI), Nagpur during which I learnt various aspects and dynamics of power plants.
