The strategic framework was powered by internally developed predictive/ML models & rules, account linking algorithm, analytical data capabilities like negative history, text mining, and a toolset for automated ID verification and AML/KYC checks using multiple data sources.

Lead a cross-functional team responsible for enhancing the quality of merchant / geo-location data and promoting its use across digital marketing and operational channels. The goal was to make merchant data awesome and consumer friendly by leveraging internal and external Point-of-Interest (POI) data sources, using advanced algorithms to make it more accurate and relevant for the end customers. My team also designed location based services for providing geo-spatial and contextual search APIs for powering Maps and Digital Marketing products such as Amex Offers and Small Business Saturday (Shop Small Map). Core operational use-cases for enriched merchant data included industry bonusing / fulfillment, card-member statements and dispute reduction.
