Working in the "Effective Weight Maintenance for the Working Age" study as a research coordinator, intervention coach, and PhD researcher. The study aims to create available, effective weight maintenance interventions for the working age. The intervention model is fully virtual and based in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. The study is conducted in cooperation with Occupational Health Helsinki and Helsinki University Central Hospital. The head researcher of the study is Professor Kirsi Pietiläinen.

Responsible for coordination of the Effective Weight Maintenance for the Working age project, conducted in cooperation between Työterveys Helsinki (Occupational Health Helsinki) and HUS Painonhallintatalo (HealthyWeightHub).

Occupational health psychologist responsible for Helsinki's executive office and municipally owned corporations. I work with individual, team and leadership level. My aim as an occupational psychologist is to help the clients thrive. Sometimes this means support sessions, sometimes workplace surveys or a wellbeing event. Whatever the next steps are, they are always planned in collaboration with the client to serve their individual needs.

Support meetings with occupational health clients

Lectures, trainings and consulting, aiming both for health care professionals and clients. I expertise in psychology of wellbeing. Themes have included: • psychological processes in eating and weight loss• pitfalls of weight loss (e.g. emotional eating, conditioning, inflexibility) and how to overcome them• the effect of overall well-being for eating and weight maintenance • healthy, flexible and compassionate eating Although based on a strong background of knowledge, my style to lecture is hands-on: the idea is to parse, create a space for self-contemplation and give concrete options to apply.

Working with obese clients participating an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy based e-coaching program.

Majority of my work is carrying out support meetings with adolescents suffering from diverse mental illnesses, conducting psychological assessments, and taking part of the treatment of two therapy groups.

The main task was conducting computer assistant dietary interviews. The work was related to the FinHealth study, one of the largest population studies in Finland.

Assisting a physically disabled customer in daily activities such as cooking, shopping and domestic work.

Worked as a consultant of Finnish food culture in the 'Amway bodykey' project. The main task was to create healthy recipes aimed for weight loss but included also research as well as translations from English to Finnish.

The work as a fieldworker in the Fin-HIT research project included a wide range of tasks including:- data collections at primary schools: introducing and collecting saliva samples, questionnaires and taking measurements (weight, height and waist circumference),- presentations of the study at schools and recruitment of participants,- desk work, such as managing consent forms and email as well as keeping record of activities.

My responsibilities in the "Mind and Body" (Mielen ja kehon eliksiirit) research project included recording 48-hour diet recalls into nutrient calculation software (AivoDiet), instructing participants in the use of study equipment as well as other assisting duties.
