Provided technology leadership for a program to deliver a new foreign currency-enabled deposit system into the bank. This program was complex as it required integration to a wide number of systems through the bank’s core systems.

As Energy Australia merged with TRU Energy, managed key C&I / Mass Market Integration & Digital Transformation programs. With teams of up to 150+ business and technical staff as well multiple vendors outsourced/offshore.

Aurora Energy was a Distribution Business and Retailer to mass market and C&I customers as well a Telco business.• In consultation with the business developed and implemented a 4 year strategy to meet company objectives and transform the IT function both in terms of technology and processes.• Managed the IT Department. Lead teams of up to 120+ business and technical staff as well an outsourced/offshore Infrastructure Support Team. • Appointed by the board as Program Director of a transformational program to modernize the companies Meter to Cash systems (Billing, CRM, Call Centre, Self Service and B2B). This program touched most parts of the business (both Distribution and Retail). Delivered within budget and timeframes. • Streamlined IT services creating formal Governance Frameworks, Project Management Office, Enterprise Architecture Practice and Service Operations Capabilities based on strong process, clear SLA’s and best practice frameworks.

Worked with the Queensland government to create the technical capabilities required for a stand-alone electricity retailer so that they could sell the retail business of Ergon Energy. • Developed a strategic roadmap for technologies, people & processes. Delivered a standalone IT capability in preparation for Sale from Government. • Managed the Powerdirect IT Department through the separation from the Queensland government to a stand-alone entity, through to its subsequent merger with AGL.• Lead a major upgrade to the inhouse developed billing system & CRM to provide the business with the ability to offer complex products and be able to scale its customer base as needed.
