Compile spatial data using field methods▪ Convert spatial data from native formats to other formats▪ Provide technical support and expertise to internal staff, consultants, contractors and the generalpublic regarding day-to-day requests for GIS information and analysis▪ Use quantitative methods to process spatial data for the purposes of making calculations, modelsand interfaces about space, spatial patterns, and spatial relationships.▪ Document standards and processes to support and facilitate GIS projects and initiatives. Prepareregular status reports, highlighting GIS issues requiring attention▪ Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions,conclusions, or approaches to problems▪ Observe and evaluate the outcomes of implementing the solution to assess the need for alternativeapproaches and to identify lessons learned▪ Assist with communication and training sessions related to the Enterprise GIS▪ Assess, interpret and depict water and wastewater utility network data within ArcGIS▪ Update and maintain as-built records documentation system in inventory database▪ Operate survey equipment including DGPS, to check and collect field information▪ Research and pursue all avenues to improve the overall value of the GIS system
