Used Cadence Virtuoso to create designs; used Calibre RVE for DRC, LVS, ERC, STDB, MEGB debugging. Engineered standard layout cells and edited massive megacell designs. Tasks included metal grid instantiation, via addition, PDV cleanup. Undertook benchmark tests for power efficiency, integrity, and stability. Created interactive web applications in order to streamline documentation of real-time edits of circuit designs and layouts. Developed a web-accessible automation Perl script to replace manual data entry which replaced a 26-hour manual process with an automated 2 hour process saving both manual hours and server load. Learned to effectively manage time and resources in a challenging business environment, owning three different projects at a time, meeting deadlines successfully and delivering completed products on time in a consistent, reliable manner.

Responsible for enforcing Residential Computing's Appropriate Use Policy as well as for all security-related activities in Residential Student Services for the Residence Halls in the University of California, Berkeley. Responsible for heading, investigating, and concluding security incidents that have occurred within the residence hall network and RSSP systems - for example: identifying vulnerable resident and administrative computers, enforcing bandwidth policy, and investigating intrusion attempts to departmentally managed hosts. Responsible for helping design and produce the Be Secure CD, which is distributed to residents as a holistic security package to meet the Campus Minimum Security Standards.

Installed, maintained, and supported residential computers and residential computer networks for the Residential Computing In-Room Connection (IRC) program of the University of California, Berkeley. Provided desktop workstation support in each residential unit’s Academic Services Center (ASC). In addition to direct computer troubleshooting, educated residents about technology resources to promote academic and personal growth.

Lead and facilitate groups of twenty new students or their guests for each of fifteen Cal-Berkeley orientation programs in June and July; listen to and address student and guest concerns; explain University procedures and policies; make presentations in front of large groups; and give administrative support.
